How to Remove Press-On Nails Safely (and Wear Them Again)

The number one rule of press-ons: never peel them off. Pulling damages both your natural nail and the set you want to wear again. Ten patient minutes is all it takes.
1. Soak. Fill a bowl with warm water, a few drops of dish soap and a little oil. Soak your fingertips for 10–15 minutes to loosen the adhesive.
2. Lift from the sides. Use the cuticle stick to gently work around the edges of each tip. If it resists, soak a few minutes longer — never force it.
3. Slide off. When the bond releases, each nail lifts away cleanly. Glue wearers may need a little more soak time than tab wearers.
4. Clean the set. Wipe away leftover adhesive from the underside of each tip with a cotton pad. Let them dry completely.
5. Care for your natural nails. Wash your hands, then apply cuticle oil. Give your nails a day or two to breathe between long wears.
Store them properly. Put the tips back in their box, away from heat and direct sunlight, so they keep their shape and shine for the next wear.
With this routine, a Knightly Nails set lasts 30+ wears — your favourite design never has to be a one-time thing.
